We have been working on the Gledhill systems for a while now and have become reasonably proficient on them as a result of been on the Gledhill (out of warranty) contractors list.
Gledhill systems are good units but like everything needs care and attention. Gledhill units work very well when new, but deteriorate very quickly. This is due to a build of scale as a result of the poor water quality. The water quality is paramount with these and other modern systems and should be checked at least after three years. The use of inhibitors is necessary especially in hard water areas.

We work on all the Gledhill units, especially the BoilerMate, ElectraMate, Gulfstream, PulsaCoil, and SysteMate. These units need to be studied well to be able to work on them and you tend to find many contractors lack the necessary knowledge to be able to be proficient on them.
We work on them with the thought in mind to get them to function as close as possible to when they were new. If this is not done you tend to get unnecessary faults resulting in a lot of money down the drain. However, you have to make that decision bearing in mind these systems are part of your home and you want to keep it that way and not have to change that.
